The Monument to Women Veterans, Inc., established in 2011 as a Florida not for profit charitable corporation, advocates for female veterans through the establishment of a large sculpted monument recognizing the service and sacrifices of all women who have proudly donned a United States armed services uniform. It further seeks to provide resources and services for a myriad of issues currently impacting Women Veterans to include PTSD/TBI, sexual assault, unemployment, homelessness and countless others that may arise in the future.
For some this will be a memorial, for others it will be hope and encouragement, but for all it will be a long-awaited recognition of their contributions. Women throughout the world will be able to participate through memberships, sponsorships, nameplates and pavers, challenge coins, visits to the monument, and viewing of educational films about the Monument to Women Veterans, Inc. This organization's dedication to Women Veterans will encompass a multitude of activities geared to the recognition, health, safety, education, and individual success of our Women Veterans, past, present , and future.
